Closer to the Heart: The New Age of Leadership begins!
“The Men and Women Who Hold High Places Must Be the First to Start to Mold a New Reality Closer to the Heart”
To give a country it’s heart back. To rekindle the spirit of “us.” To provide a clear sense of common purpose. This is perhaps an insurmountable challenge in today’s environment of polarization and cutting harsh criticism and blame flying in all directions. But we are going to try. We are going to try because the American people deserve, need and crave inspirational leadership. We hope to make your spine tingle with our enthusiasm and idealism. Our goal is to make you more proud than ever to be an American and to reestablish America as the shining beacon of hope for all of mankind.
We want to establish a trust so that every single American truly believes we have their interest in mind. That their problems are understood. That their point of view is heard and considered and given full and fair weight in all decisions. In short we want ALL Americans to believe in the depths of their soul – that we care for them and we have love and compassion for them and their struggles. The struggle and suffering of any American is a heavy weight in the heart of any and all of the leaders of our party. We are a common ground party that seeks to serve the best we can ALL Americans. We are a party of “Everyday People.”
We would like to introduce to you The Entrepreneurship Party. The “E” Party. Focused on the big 5 priorities of promoting Entrepreneurship, Exports, Environment, Education for life and Efficiency and Excellence in the Delivery of Government Services. You can also call us the Executive Party if you wish because we initially are focused only on backing candidates for the executive positions of Governor and President. We believe the best Government, just like the best businesses, is a Government where the executive carefully weighs the considerations of the left and the right when making all decisions with the intent to make the best decision for all. We must weigh in all executive decisions not only the effect that the decision may have on job creation and economic growth but also on how it may affect the less advantaged in our population, the elderly, the sick, the minorities, the poor. Our party will give great weight to both sides in every decision as great executives always do. A third party founded on the principle of non-polarization.
A party embracing with good spirit the best teachings of the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. We agree strongly and passionately with the Republican Party related to helping entrepreneurs survive and thrive in the modern World market. The best way of empowering people, including women and minorities, is to create an environment where entrepreneurship, job creation and economic opportunity thrives. The principle of keeping the over bearing power of Government limited. To place power in independent hard working people instead of communes of Government bureaucrats attempting centralized planning from an elite city far from where people work and live. The principle of keeping taxes and over-regulation in check to allow people to have the capital to pursue their dreams without bureaucrats stifling their progress. The principle of nurturing an economy where opportunity is equal for all. Where success is based on merit and how well you meet the needs and wants of people by doing good things rather than by who you know and have access to in high places of power in Government. We will root out waste and inefficiencies in Government services. If you are person who spends each day wasting or not providing a fair return for hard earned tax payer money as part of our Government bureaucracy, you had better get ready to get a new job. Wasting and abusing hard earned tax payer dollars will no longer be tolerated. These funds are meant to help people in need and to strengthen our country. Every tax payer dollar should be treated as precious. Those who waste tax payer monies with careless disregard will be rooted out and the situation will be corrected in short order. We believe that most Government services are best delivered locally not from Washington D.C. elite central planners. Central planning was tried in Russia, East Germany, Cuba, North Korea and in other unfortunate nations. It did not work – period. It will never work. It is a flawed way of operating. It kills the incentive of people to work and invest which is the key to a thriving growing economy. We believe in free and fair trade. We believe that a focus on keeping American businesses competitive in the ever growing World marketplace is the common ground principle that aligns all other goals of our country. If we focus on being competitive in the free and fair trading World marketplace we will then have the sustainable funds for education, healthcare, infrastructure improvements, defense and security and helping the poor and down and out. We believe principle of keeping a strong, alert, well trained and well equipped military to defend our country. To use the defense force in last resort only.
We also embrace the compassion of the Democratic Party. The principle of the Democratic Party that a nation cannot be great that does not take care of it’s retired elderly people, it’s crippled and sick, and that does not give a helping hand to people who genuinely are trying to get back on their feet following a disaster or unforeseen economic set back. We embrace the Democratic Party’s commitment to promoting a clean and safe environment. Global warming is a real crisis and pollution is a real crisis and our party will meet these challenges with full vigor. We will design and implement a clean transportation system, the GO-POD electric car and train interchange system, which will forever more improve our environment, lessen our dependency on foreign oil and reduce traffic jams in our major cities. We believe and add to the Democratic Party’s commitment to education. We believe in education for life for all. We are enrolling every American in college from birth to death with no exceptions! If you live here you are in college for life. Lifelong learning is essential for human development and for the competitiveness of our nation in the World marketplace. We through our leadership will teach and promote the joys of reading and lifelong learning. We share the position of John Kennedy as well as Ronald Reagan that the strongest deterrent to war is a strong defense and that this defense force should only be used in extreme circumstances in last resort when all other alternatives have been exhausted. We believe one of the best ways to fight extremists to counter radical terrorists is to gain the support of moderate Muslims by expressing love, compassion and understanding. By highlighting the positive aspects of the Islamic faith and by letting moderate Muslims know that they have our support for their good principles and causes where we have common ground. These include a commitment to charity, love for all, humility and kindness. We will express compassion for their grievances against over reaches of power by Israel. This does not mean we are against the great Israeli democracy. To the contrary our support and love for Islam and our expressions of support and understanding for the grievances that Arabs have against certain actions of the Israeli Government and Military will serve to improve the security of Israel, The U.S.A. and all nations.
We have lived through too many years of the destructive politics of polarization. It has been politics that serves to divide Americans against Americans, and communities against communities. Blue state people bitterly against to the extreme red state people and vice versa. The criticisms have moved beyond constructive to destructive and beyond disagreements in policy to personal exaggerated extremist attacks. This behavior is not productive and is not acceptable. It is the politics dominated by cynical people. It is not appropriate to challenge others’ patriotism and character when they disagree with a specific policy. The politics of polarization must end and must end NOW. The extreme ideologues and institutions that perpetuate it have to hear the voice of us the every day people of America that WE NO LONGER WILL ACCEPT this destructive behavior of extreme polarizations. Everyone fairly deserves their opinion to be heard without the threat of personal character attacks. We all seek a better, safer America with a thriving economy and a healthy environment. We all seek this common ground of mutual interest. It is time to move beyond the era of polarization and the paralysis it breeds to a new era of common sense and common ground, an era that seeks consensus and not constant confrontation, an era that seeks to find what is in the common interest of most of us rather than promoting the narrow interests of a few. We stand on the hallowed soil of the American Spirit. It is the common ground I share with millions of my fellow Americans. It is a ground where “we the people” stand, and to those who promote polarization we say simply…it is time for you to move to higher ground with us.
It has reached the point that even when Republicans reach out and across the aisle to attempt to bring solutions for healthcare coverage or education or the environment that they are not trusted or believed. The reverse is true when Democrats bring forward initiatives for welfare reform, to reduce Government spending and to balance budgets, to reduce the trade deficit and stimulate investment in businesses. Their positive initiatives towards common ground are met with scorn and ridicule simply because the other side has labeled them as an enemy and they cannot get over past grievances and give these new initiatives a fair hearing. It has gotten so bad that even when President Bush implemented a plan for helping Aids patients with substantial funding or providing expanding prescription medicine coverage to the elderly, initiatives held dear in the past to Democrats, and initiatives counter to the right wingers of his party who desire to keep tax payer funded spending in check, the Democrats do not even give him credit where credit is due for his common ground and compassionate actions, simply because they cannot overcome their resentment and bitterness held over from unrelated past battles. This is ridiculous. This is destructive for America when half the country bitterly resents the other half so deeply that anything either side says is not even really heard by the other side. Even when one is trying to reach out to build consensus with the other side. This is a dysfunctional relationship. It is not good for our country and today is the day that this era ends. Today is the day when the era of hope, opportunity and enthusiasm for the future begins!
I am proud and grateful to be a citizen of a country where we are close to having 50% of the businesses owned by women. In John Kennedy’s time this was under 6%. We have come a long way baby! A vote for helping entrepreneurs is a vote for empowering women and minorities. If you are a struggling minority there is no better way for you to break the bonds of poverty than to be part of a thriving business that is succeeding in gaining and keeping customers in the expanding World marketplace. You get and keep customers by doing things right. By providing a valued product or service. The U.S. is 4% of the World’s population soon to be under 2.5%. This means that over 97% of the potential consumers for any product or service are to be found outside of the U.S.A. Vibrant, free and fair international trade expands opportunity for all! Exports create jobs! World trade reduces the costs of products and services which allow each dollar of precious income held by hard working people to go that much further in supporting their families. In short you get more for less when international trade thrives. When entrepreneurship and international trade thrives Americans have more opportunity and a higher quality of life. International trade as a side benefit highly promotes World peace. People have a tendency not to want to kill their valued customers. Many believe that the number one driver of lack of deeper conflict between the Communist Government of China and the U.S.A. is the vibrant trade that exists between the nations. When people work together by trading with each other barriers of misconception break down. True friendships develop. People realize through contact that people indeed are basically the same everywhere. Everyone is working each day to try to make a better life for themselves and their families and loved ones.
We would be grateful to gain your support. Support for the Entrepreneurship Party. The “E” is for You and Me!
